reezy – Call It A Night Tour: Content-Driven Show Design
For reezy's "Call It A Night Tour," we created a technically sophisticated and visually stunning show design. The concept was heavily content-driven and based on a clear artistic vision.
Innovative Set and Lighting Design: A central element of the design were the LED stairs, which were more than just a set and could visually transform into an "incredibly impressive 3D world." The lighting design, utilizing many linear structures, interacted closely with content to create depth and illusions.
Media Server & Timecode – New Thinking for an Extraordinary Live Experience:IMAGs are rather uncommon in venues of this size – which is exactly why we wanted to consciously rethink and creatively integrate them into the show. Through creative use of Notch effects, we combined live camera images to create a visually unique and immersive live experience. Control of the complex video and camera staging on the LED walls was handled through a Pixera media server system. Thanks to precise timecode synchronization, video, lighting, and audio ran seamlessly and perfectly coordinated.
Sophisticated Audio System: reezy is known for his attention to detail and high standards for sound aesthetics – and this was reflected in every aspect of the tour. To technically implement this perfectionism.
A special highlight was the early implementation of the brand-new L-Acoustics L2 system – even before it was available on the market. Through our close collaboration with L-Acoustics, we gained exclusive access to this system, which was fine-tuned by an outstanding system engineer for exceptionally homogeneous, crystal-clear, and powerful sound.
Unusual for venues of this size was our use of flown bass systems – an approach otherwise almost exclusively used in arena productions. Combined with ground-placed bass systems, this created a powerful full-range system that optimally supported the bass-heavy nature of the show and completely filled every venue acoustically.
Additionally, a specially configured vocal chain was employed, providing exceptional clarity and presence in vocals – tailored for the requirements of modern hip-hop production at the highest level.
